Trying to get the lid off her McDonald's coffee to add cream and sugar, 79-year-old Stella Liebeck accidentally splashes the 180-degree liquid on herself, causing third-degree burns to the thighs, genitals, and buttocks. After skin graft surgery and weeks of recuperation, Liebeck asks McDonald's to turn down the temperature of their coffee and pay $20,000 to defray her hospital bills. McDonald's tells the old lady to fuck off, as they had done for a decade of similar burn claims. Ultimately, a jury awards Liebeck $2.9 million in the resulting lawsuit, which immediately triggers a renewed call for legislative tort reform.

Today's Date & The Dukes of Hazzard & Michael Jackson, New Vintage Tees, T-Shirt Record

A classic 80s TV Show got its start on todays date back in 1979. On January 26th, 1979 The Dukes of Hazzard premiered. It gave us many great years of 80s TV and great 80s Tees as a result.

Also on todays date this memorable music moment occured:

Michael Jackson's hair is ignited by a magnesium flash bomb at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles during the filming of a Pepsi television commercial, causing third-degree scalp burns.

Mr. Jackson has numerous other problems since that occured.

In the t-shirt world we have added several new low priced vintage tees to the site. Here is an example to the left. Some of these are hysterical and perfect for parties

This guy obviously has alot of free time on his hand but since it related to t-shirts makes a great topic for us. He set a Guinness Book of World Records Record for putting on the most t-shirts at one time. He started with a size small and went up to 10X. He word 155 t-shirts in all. From what I saw most were pretty ugly. Take a look at the clip

80s Wrestler Dies, Vintage T-Shirts of the Week

It's a sad day in the wrestling community. Former WWF wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow has died od unknown causes. He was 45. He was very popular in the 80s and wrestled with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. He was known for wearing colorful flame stripped tights. His scalp was tattoed as well so was very noticeable. RIP Bam Bam

In honor of the Chicago Bears making the Super Bowl, we found the perfect t-shirts for Indianapolis Colts fans. This it the Crooked Monkey Chicago Blows T-Shirt. Pictured is the male version but we also carry a similar one in a womens tee shirt. It is enzyme treated so super soft and very cool

Televangelist Jim Bakker of the PTL ministry has a 15 minute quickie in a motel room with Jessica Hahn. The minister uses the line "When you help the shepherd, you're helping the sheep". Baaaa. PTL later pays Hahn hush money, but seven years later the incident becomes public and Bakker resigns in disgrace.
