Did you know that on todays date back in 1999, Actress Dana Plato, who played Kimberly Drummond on 80s TV Show Diff'rent Strokes, died in Oklahoma of an overdose of Valium and Loritab. Just the previous day, Plato had appeared on the Howard Stern syndicated radio program claiming to be clean and sober.

We just received many new Retro Game T-Shirts by Junk Food and it really made us remember the good old days when their was no internet and people had time to actually play a game. Speaking of Lite-Brite, did you know that the game is no longer even sold in its original format? Thats what three different toy stores told us at least. We attempted to get a few units to use for promotions and were told its no longer sold. Its not sold in a compact box like format that looks nothing like the original unit. The good news was the pegs can be stores in the unit nicely and it works on batteries!

Junk Food Star Wars Tees are Here! Summer Concert Reunion Tours

For those of you who do not know or do not care, the Star Wars 30th Anniversary is approaching in May (yes the movie was released 30 years ago, and yes we are all getting old). Star Wars merchandise will be everywhere over the next few months including on US Stamps! On the t-shirt front we will be receiving a ton of cool limited edition Star Wars T-Shirts. This seems to be the summer of bands reuniting and going on tour. Other than the Police which everyone knows has reunited for a tour, the following bands are coming back for tours this summer:

Genesis, Crowded House, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Squeeze, Rage Against The Machine, and the Smashing Pumpkins.

Trying to get the lid off her McDonald's coffee to add cream and sugar, 79-year-old Stella Liebeck accidentally splashes the 180-degree liquid on herself, causing third-degree burns to the thighs, genitals, and buttocks. After skin graft surgery and weeks of recuperation, Liebeck asks McDonald's to turn down the temperature of their coffee and pay $20,000 to defray her hospital bills. McDonald's tells the old lady to fuck off, as they had done for a decade of similar burn claims. Ultimately, a jury awards Liebeck $2.9 million in the resulting lawsuit, which immediately triggers a renewed call for legislative tort reform.

Setback in Wonder Woman Movie

The creator of a planned Wonder Woman movie seems to have pulled out due to creative differences with the studio. Sorry Super Hero fans, it looks as if we will need to wait awile for this one to ever be released.
